What We Believe
Because God gives man eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by any self-effort of the Christian.
God’s Word to all people. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without error.
The Holy Spirit is equal with the God the Father and Jesus Christ. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation and provides power for living and gives wisdom and guidance for doing what is right.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is the Savior of man, equal with the Holy Spirit and the Father. He led a sinless life and thereby was able to offer Himself as the perfect sacrifice for all of mankind
God is creator of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons – Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit. They are equal. They are one God.
Baptism is by immersion as a symbol of Christ’s death, burial and resurrection. Baptism does not save you, but shows that you have been saved.
The Lord’s Supper – An ordinance given to all believers by Jesus Christ to remember His sacrifice.
Man is made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him and to have a relationship with Him. We are alienated and separated from God by our disobedience.
Man was created to exist forever, either eternally separated from God by sin or eternally in union with God in heaven.
It is a free gift from God, received only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness. Eternal life begins at the moment one receives Jesus Christ by faith.
